Non-School Day. Ages 11-14. The Safe Sitter® program prepares you to be safe when you’re home alone or babysitting. Become the most sought-after babysitter in your neighborhood as you gain child-care techniques, including basic first aid, CPR, and how to call for help in an emergency. Bring a nut-free bag lunch. Ages 3-5. Discover what happens if you Give a Mouse a Cookie, Give a Moose a Muffin, or Give a Pig a Pancake and then make food inspired by the books. Ages 3-5. Bust out your favorite dance moves and twirl the day away! Move your bodies with a whole lot of kid voice and choice. Build your own ribbon twirler to take home on the last day. Ages 3-5. Wrap yourself in ribbon and dance like Snow White and the 7 dwarfs! Move your bodies to all of your favorite Snow White and winter themed hits. Grades 10-12. Prepare for the ACT in a traditional classroom format with in-person instructors who present test-taking strategies, critical review, and time management for all testing areas of the ACT. Great for those who are uneasy about their test-taking skills or unsatisfied with previous ACT results. All materials provided. One adult and one child, grades 1-5. Register under the child’s name. Curious about rock climbing but don’t know where to start? Bring your favorite adult and enjoy a day of bouldering! Bouldering is a type of indoor rock climbing that doesn’t require any special harnesses or ropes. The Basics: Students must be 15 years of age by the first day of class. Course consists of State-required 30 hours of classroom instruction. Students are required to attend all 30 consecutive hours of classroom instruction. The classroom prepares students for the written permit test. This class does NOT include behind-the-wheel lessons. Upon successful completion, students will receive a Letter of Completion. Should you choose to complete the behind-the-wheel portion of the Driver Education program, this letter may be presented to a driving school of your choosing to purchase behind-the-wheel lessons and to receive your E-card to take the permit test. Refunds, minus a $10 cancellation fee, will be issued upon request for cancellation. Refunds will not be issued less than 3 days before the start of the course. Ages 3-5. Creative Movement is a fun environment where you can explore, improvise, and express yourself through dance! Develop gross and fine motor skills, as well as coordination, rhythm, teamwork, and listening skills. Participants should be comfortable without their adult in the room. Train as a unit and test your combined skills in a thrilling final tournament! Equipment provided. Practice basic skills, like dribbling, shot technique, and passing. Develop teamwork and have a blast together on the court! Learn the fundamental skills of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding, and defense, as well as the life skills of sportsmanship and teamwork. Tailored for beginning players.
