    One adult and one child, ages 10-15. Register under the child's name. Learn the ins and outs of this classic tabletop role-playing game together! Create a character and enjoy a short segment of gameplay. Math, team-building, and critical thinking skills are highlighted throughout the session.
  • Easy Tarot

    Have you dabbled with tarot cards but never really found the best method for learning how to read them? Join us to cover everything from how to read patterns in the deck, tarot spreads, proper card handling, and how to intuitively connect with the cards. No prior experience necessary. Please bring to class a Rider-Waite-Smith Universal Tarot deck. This is not an oracle or angel card class. We will not be able to cover every card in the tarot deck during this class. This is a beginners class only, designed to introduce you to the deck and also to a specific study method for learning on your own.

    Through the ancient science of tracking, identify footprints and other signs left by animals on the landscape, and come to understand the intimate details of their lives. Discover how to identify common local species, as well as ways to practice and connect with other trackers to improve your skills. Class is outdoors.   • Team Puzzle Competition: Adult Division

    Assemble a group of 4 adults (ages 16 and up) for a morning of fun at Community Education's Second Annual Jigsaw Puzzle Competition! If you're looking to register a team that includes youth ages 5-15 see our Family (Adult/Youth) Division. STEPS TO REGISTER: Identify your group of 4 team members ages 16 and up Designate a team captain Registration for the team should be under the name of the Team Captain (only one registration needed per team) Registration price includes all 4 team members. There is space within the registration form to list the names of the other 3 team members, as well as a team name if you choose to have one. Communications about the competition will go to the email address associated with the team captain's registration account COMPETITION INFO: Check in begins at 9:00 a.m. All teams must be checked in and at their assigned table by 9:45 a.m. Competition begins promptly at 10 a.m. and ends at 12 p.m. Each team will receive an identical, 500-piece (bagged) puzzle not to be opened until the competition begins Hands only - no puzzle tools (cutting devices, flashlights, phones, etc...) Onlookers will be restricted to a watching area away from the puzzling tables and are not to distract or help teams with the completion of their puzzle Participants may not approach other team tables or distract other teams There will be no official breaks but teams are allowed to do so as needed Questions should be directed to a judge Food and beverages are allowed at tables but at your own risk. The first team to successfully complete their puzzle and have it approved by the judges will win the competition. 2nd and 3rd places will also be awarded. If the time limit expires before any team has completed their puzzle, we will count remaining "loose" pieces and determine a winner. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. All teams will get to keep their puzzle.

    Form a group of 4 for a morning of fun at Community Education's Second Annual Family (Adult/Child) Jigsaw Puzzle Competition. It's a great opportunity to spend time with your “family”—however you define it. Teammates do not need to be related. Eath team must include 4 members total with: At least one adult (ages 16 and up) At least two youth (ages 5–15) The fourth member may be either youth or adult. One adult team member must register the team. This person will be the Team Captain and serve as the main contact for event communications. If you're looking to register a team of all adults (ages 16 and up) see the Adult Team Division.
