Entering grades 1-5. Calling all creative kids! This is the perfect camp to hone both your artistic side and your puzzle-solving skills. Just like on the popular TV show Nailed It!, we’ll show you a final product and give you all the goods needed to recreate it. The rest is up to you! This is Kidcreate-style, so instead of baking, we’ll be sculpting, painting, collaging, and more! Challenges include creating a unicorn cake sculpture that looks good enough to eat, painting a fox at sunset, a llama with a flower crown, and so much more. We can’t wait to see if you can nail it! This course is fully subsidized through grants from the American Rescue Plan.

Entering grades 4-8. Sweet summer projects! A tres-chic skirt, tie-top blouse, headband and more. No experience necessary. Make, showcase, and take home your projects. Learn hand and machine sewing techniques, and methods for staying safe while using machines. End the week with a showcase for friends and family to see the projects in action. This course is fully subsidized through grants from the American Rescue Plan.

Ages 8-12. If you're ready to rock but don't know your strings from your tuning pegs, you've come to the right place! Regardless of musical experience, our friends from School Of Rock St. Paul will take aspiring musicians and teach them everything they need to know to be a ukulele star. We'll even end the week with a friendly performance so your rocker can feel the thrill of the stage! Best of all: you get to keep the ukulele! All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program.

Ages 3-6. This camp is packed full of fan favorites! From paper mache bowls, projects that glow in the dark, and messy clay masterpieces, these are the Kidcreate projects our littlest students love the most! All of them are put together in one very popular camp. Guaranteed to be an artsy good time! Come ready to get messy. This course is fully subsidized through grants from the American Rescue Plan.

Entering grades 1-5. Animal lovers rejoice; an all new - all pastel workshop is here! You will learn pastel drawing and texturing techniques to illustrate whimsical bees, a fanciful army of frogs, a striking owl and more artistic critters filled with detail. Challenge yourself by diving into the world of pastels, a guaranteed favorite summer tradition for all! This course is fully subsidized through grants from the American Rescue Plan.
