Accessible Gymnastics
Gymnastics class for participants with developmental disabilities. This class is designed for youth, ages 6-10, who require a smaller class size with more individual attention. We will work on body awareness, stretching and movement. Everything will be based on the individual's abilities. Parent/Guardian participation encouraged. All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program. -

Advanced
(formerly: Advanced Beginners) Ages 6-14. Coach approval required. Beginner I
Ages 5-14 with little or no previous gymnastic experience. Learn the basics of floor exercise, uneven bars, balance beam, vault and dance. All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program. -
Beginner II
Ages 5-14 with a minimum of 2 sessions previous gymnastic experience. Learn more of the basics of floor exercise, uneven bars, balance beam, vault and dance. All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program. -
Flips
For gymnasts who are progressing at an advanced level. Coach approval required. All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program. -

Gymnastics Mini-Camp
Each camp has a specific age or skill level attached to it. Pay attention to the name of the camps when registering. All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program. This course is fully subsidized through grants from the American Rescue Plan. -
Intermediate
(formerly: Intermediate Beginners) Ages 5-14. Coach approval required. Junior Flips
(formerly: a combination of Mini Flips and Kinder Flips) For gymnasts who are progressing at an advanced level. Coach approval required. Middle School and High School Gymnastics
For ages 12-18. No experience required. Coaches will differentiate for different skill levels. -
Rings, Pommel Horse and More!
All youth, ages 5-14, are welcome to explore and learn the basics for Rings, Pommel Horse, High Bar, and Parallel Bars. All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program. -
Top Ten
Coach approval required. This course is designed for participants in Junior Flips, Flips, Leaping Lilies, Team Silver and Teams Blue classes. The course will focus on foundational work required for gymnastics competition: strength, agility, flexibility, coordination and muscle memory are some examples. All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program. -

Tumble Bees
Ages 3-4. Learn basic gymnastic skills, body awareness, group activities, problem solving, following directions and gymnastic vocabulary. Child must be toilet trained and comfortable without a parent in the room. All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program. -
Tumble Together
Ages 18 months-4 and one adult per child. Explore gymnastics together and develop balancing, jumping, rolling, climbing and hanging skills. Class starts with a group activity, followed by tumbler/adult pairs rotating through equipment stations. Learn gymnastic vocabulary and how to work safely in a gym. All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program. -
Tumble Transitions
Ages 3-4. Learn basic gymnastic skills, body awareness, group activities, problem solving, following directions and gymnastic vocabulary. Child must be toilet trained and comfortable without a parent in the room. The parent/guardian will be in the class with the child for the first 5-10 minutes, including the stretching portion. Parents will then leave the gym and the child will continue. The purpose of this class is to help tentative children transition to being in class without the parent. All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program.
