  • Belwin Conservancy: Hiking into the Night

    Explore the other half of the day, when the darkness envelopes our world. We will begin inside with a brief overview of winter night life at Belwin and then head out to witness the beauty of the dark. We will end our evening with light refreshments around a fire. Come dressed in layers for any weather, wear comfortable hiking footwear for the season, bring water. Flashlight or headlight with red light option is optional. Open to all ages 12 and above.     One adult and one child, age 5 and up. Register for the class under the name of the child attending. There are so many fun ways to get outdoors and enjoy our MN winters. Sample activities like snowshoeing, kick-sledding, and ice fishing. No experience required and all equipment is provided.   • Pop Goes the Wolf

    Experience adventure from wolves to soda pop all in one day! Start with a narrated visit of The Wildlife Science Center, home to MN’s largest wolf pack. Then, see vintage bottling in action at the state’s original craft soda shop: The Blue Sun. A Pasta Buffet lunch is included. The Wildlife Science Center is an educational resource center providing exposure to wild animals and contributing to research and conservation efforts. WSC is home to gray wolves, red wolves, Mexican wolves, bears, raptors, mountain lions and other wild animals. Blue Sun Soda Shop is home to over 1000 craft sodas.
