Tulip Collage: Watercolor PaintingArt & MusicThis whimsical painting is created with a delightful combination of collage and watercolor. Use a wet into wet technique to create the underpainting, negative painting and collage to create interesting abstract shapes in the background. Brushes: You may use your regular watercolor brushes. Intro to Acrylic Abstract PaintingArt & MusicPaint with intention but not a plan. Explore a different way to approach an acrylic painting. Try layering with acrylics, mark making and simple design elements. This class has a supply list to purchase before class. List is in the confirmation email. Supplies to Purchase: XL mixed media paper by Canson. It comes in a tablet, spiral bound and usually a blue cover, 98 lb. size 14 x 17 or 9 x 12. We may use 6-8 pages total so you can share a tablet with a friend. Washi tape or frog tape to use to divide the paper into smaller rectangles Acrylic paint in a variety of colors. (White, black, yellow, gold, rose, red, light blue, turquoise, dark blue, green). Deco art paint is acceptable, or other brands of acrylic paint. Don’t make a large investment in supplies until class when I will go over the supplies we will use. White Gesso or White acrylic paint Black Stabilo All pencil #8046 OPTIONAL. Water soluble crayons or Dina Wakley scribble sticks. Acrylic paint markers and other mark making tools. Deli paper or pallet paper to squeeze the paint on to Paper towels Water container Brushes in a variety of sizes: ½” Flat and larger are good. Crayola brand has a nice set of white nylon round brushes and a set of flat brushes that are good quality for the price of $4-6. It's All About the Dress: Acrylic PaintingArt & MusicThis whimsical- Klimt-like acrylic painting starts with a very colorful underpainting. Subsequent layers add colors and texture.
