    Ages 11-14. The Safe Sitter® program prepares you to be safe when you’re home alone or babysitting. Become the most sought-after babysitter in your neighborhood as you gain child-care techniques, including basic first aid, CPR, and how to call for help in an emergency. Bring a nut-free bag lunch.     Entering 4-6. The Safe@Home program prepares you to make safe decisions when you are home alone for short periods of time. Practice safe habits, learn how to prevent unsafe situations, how to stay entertained, and what to do in challenging situations like a weather emergency or power failure. Includes an introduction to basic first aid and how to call for help in an emergency.   • West Hub: All Abilities Dancing: Hip-Hop

    Grades K-5. Youth living with and without disabilities will have the opportunity to express themselves through movement in a supportive, community-minded environment. You will find your voice and style through the lens of Hip Hop, gaining skills through technique and confidence in freestyling. Dancers will explore a breadth of styles (breaking, popping, locking, house) and get a glimpse into the history of the genre and its evolution. This high-energy class centers positive body awareness, creativity, teamwork, motor coordination, and personal expression. Community Ed is not able to provide PCA level care or 1 on 1 assistance. If your dancer needs this type of care, adults and caregivers are more than welcome to join the class. This course is fully subsidized through grants from the American Rescue Plan.

Using sensory techniques and calming practices, learn stretching, self-regulation, and strengthening moves.
