Explore the art of pyrography—the craft of drawing with heat! Learn wood-burning techniques, from choosing the right wood to adding stain or paint for a polished finish. Create a custom set of coasters or decorative pieces for yourself or a friend. Burners and wood are provided.

Instructor

Rob Curran is a current SPPS Community Education employee, working in the Discovery Club program for over fifteen years.  During his time with St Paul, Rob has also worked with the SEED program, teaching art to adults with special needs.  Rob enjoys bringing out the artistic talents in his students of all ages and abilities.
