1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
For the experienced knitter, create your own pumpkin harvest. Create a 4.5-inch size pumpkin using worsted weight yarn. Once knitted, we'll felt and embellish together. Participants must know how to knit on double point needles and in the round. This class has a supply list.
Prerequisite: Must be able to knit on double point needles. This is not a learn-to-knit class.
Marie is a knitting pattern designer with a line of 30 patterns and kits. She has taught knitting for 15 years, mainly from her line of patterns. Some of other skills are embellishing techniques on felting projects using beading, needle felting, embroidery and applique. Marie's book "Whimsical Woollies", highlights 20 projects with a extensive felting and embellishing section.
