Discovery Club School Age Child Care

1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
Non-School Day. Ages 11-14. The Safe Sitter® program prepares you to be safe when you’re home alone or babysitting. Become the most sought-after babysitter in your neighborhood as you gain child-care techniques, including basic first aid, CPR, and how to call for help in an emergency. Bring a nut-free bag lunch.
Sliding Fees:Our model for program pricing ensures that our high-quality enrichment classes are more accessible to our community members. We encourage participants to choose the price that they are able to pay. This structure helps our programs be financially sustainable and more equitable.
Alexa Grays has been in youth work for more than a decade. She has one son and is also a licensed foster parent. Alexa is passionate about helping families, and enjoys working with her community and creating art.
Alicia finds so much joy in working with young children and is inspired by the curiosity and excitement they bring to everything. She worked as a classroom teacher for kindergarten and Pre-K for 10 years, seven of those being in SPPS. She loves helping children explore, create, and fall in love with learning!
Alicia lives in Saint Paul with her husband and son, and can be found walking or riding bikes through the city, playing at playgrounds, or enjoying ice cream at Nellies, Cold Front, or Two Scoops.
