1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
Age 18+. Want to know more about welding, here's your chance! Discover the mystery and magic of welding as you sit close to the fountain of sparks and join steel and other materials together.
In this one day class we will survey three common welding techniques:
Each technique will be explained and demonstrated. Participants will have time for hand on practice.
The Guild of Metalsmiths (TGoM) is a non-profit organization of people centered in and around Minnesota who preserve and promote the art, science, and skills of metalworking. We hold classes on Basics, Hammers, Tongs, Zombie Choppers, Tomahawks, Flowers, Leaves, and much more. We hold a 3-day open forge in June, a 3-day conference with demonstrators in September, and bi-monthly pot-luck member meetings. There are lots of opportunities to demonstrate, and maybe sell your wares, at local Threshing Shows, County Fairs, and Art Shows which we sponsor and support. Our members get advanced registration for classes plus discounts for equipment, clothing, supplies, and classes.
