1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
Spend an evening walk along the scenic Mississippi River Boulevard from Summit Avenue south to Hartford avenue. Begin at the Would War I Monument at the end of Summit and explore the history of the Shadow Falls, St. Thomas, and the architectural gems lining the boulevard. A contemplative and serene walk following well-maintained paved paths and offering beautiful view of the river and the setting sun.
Tour Activity Rating: 4 Extensive walking, stairs, and standing. Walk covers miles.
Troy Parkinson has a love for nature and local history. As a documentary filmmaker by trade, he has worked on projects for History Channel and Discovery Health. After exploring Twin Cities neighborhoods for years and researching their unique histories, Troy is excited to share his passion and perspective on these walking tours.
