1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
Join us for a scenic, invigorating walk exploring stunning views of the Mississippi River from Saint Paul’s iconic High Bridge. Starting at the Big Green Chair in the historic neighborhood at the bridge’s base, we’ll ascend the 2,770-foot High Bridge and continue up Smith Avenue. Along the way, learn about local architecture, neighborhood history, and the West St. Paul border at Annapolis Street. Enjoy stops at Amore Coffee and other local spots before heading back downhill. This is a vigorous walk, with an uphill first half and a downhill return.

Troy Parkinson has a love for nature and local history. As a documentary filmmaker by trade, he has worked on projects for History Channel and Discovery Health. After exploring Twin Cities neighborhoods for years and researching their unique histories, Troy is excited to share his passion and perspective on these walking tours.
