A Sichuan favorite! Made with soft tofu, ground meat (commonly pork) Sichuan peppercorns and fermented black bean paste, served with rice. Not a dish for people that are spice weary. Mapo tofu is packed full of umami flavors, a true culinary experience. Add something new and flavorful into your weekly meal rotation!

Jess Toliver, owner of Jess Delicious Living, is a holistic chef, with a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu. She is a certified wellness and nutrition coach through The Institute for Integrative Nutrition and a Reiki Master. Jess believes in treating people, as a whole, mind, body, and spirit. Jess specializes in teaching people how to eat, and prepare delicious, nourishing meals, especially with dietary restrictions. She teaches virtually and in person at multiple locations in the Twin Cities metro area as well as classes on the Learn It Live platform. She helps support people in creating sustainable habits on their wellness journey and also works part time as a coordinator in inpatient mental health.
