1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
Bachata is danced around the world, originating in the Dominican Republic. Learn simple steps while moving your hips to the music. Start with a footwork combo, arm work, then go deeper into body movement. Discover ways Bachata is danced, while focusing on Bachata Moderna.
Born in Argentina, at the age of 8 years old, Nela started dancing traditional Folklore and Ballet. Years later, at the age of 15, she discover the passion for Salsa and Bachata. She started training and her instructor took her right away to perform and do events with him. It was an amazing experience that made her keep training and join many other dance groups where she travelled and performed. She was invited to participate on a local dance TV show. At the age of 20, she moved to the USA where she trained with the best dancers in the world and finished her career at the university. While studying, she opened a dance club where she taught fun classes and worked on some projects teaching choreographies to students to perform at many events the University. After she graduated, she opened her own academy in St Paul, MN called Nela Dance where she teach Salsa and Bachata to the community.
