1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
Take your junk journaling to the next level! Craft unique journals using creative materials like old books and fabric, explore bookbinding basics, and add fun elements like pockets. Participants are encouraged to bring materials from home such as personal items and memorabilia to use in layouts.
Christine Shyne has been a lifelong lover of paper and books - especially old ones! It was eight years ago, however, when she began to put those together with her love of crafting and using recycled materials to make creative journals for a multitude of uses from art journals, to memory keeping, written journals, or even planning or bullet journals. She has participated in local farmer’s markets and several St. Paul Art Crawls. Shyne recently created Art in Community, a group that supports, collaborates, and works to create more opportunities for artists to create work and be seen. You can find out more about Shyne on her website: www.thirdflooroddities.com.
