This Mediterranean vegetarian favorite is made of ground chickpeas, herbs and spices, typically served as a street food in a sandwich or on salad and topped with a creamy cucumber dill tzatziki sauce. Don’t have a food processor, that’s okay. Learn how to make it without any equipment!

Jess Toliver, owner of Jess Delicious Living, is a holistic chef, with a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu. She is a certified wellness and nutrition coach through The Institute for Integrative Nutrition and a Reiki Master. Jess believes in treating people, as a whole, mind, body, and spirit. Jess specializes in teaching people how to eat, and prepare delicious, nourishing meals, especially with dietary restrictions. She teaches virtually and in person at multiple locations in the Twin Cities metro area as well as classes on the Learn It Live platform. She helps support people in creating sustainable habits on their wellness journey and also works part time as a coordinator in inpatient mental health.
