School Age Child Care

1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
One adult and one child, Grades 2-5. Register under the child's name. Learn how to maintain a natural hair care routine. Learn buns, twists, and braids that can protect your hair and be worn until your next style. Come with freshly washed and conditioned hair and try these easy styles with minimal products. Bring home a care package that includes cleansing oil and a scrunchie.
Sliding Fees: Our model for program pricing ensures that our high-quality enrichment classes are more accessible to our community members. We encourage participants to choose the price that they are able to pay. This structure helps our programs be financially sustainable and more equitable.
Nyasha grew up on bobos & barrettes, doing her sister's hair before school. Classmates and friends often asked her to do their makeup, and artistry was something that just came natural to her. Nyasha graduated from Minnesota School of Cosmetology and went on to work at JUUT. She opened up a small business: Nya B. Beauty Bar, in which she does hair and makeup. Currently, offering travel services.
