Ki Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art that emphasizes peaceful resolution of conflict. Ki Development trains unity of mind and body through relaxation, breathing, and movement exercises that promote your natural ability to respond to stress and conflict positively and creatively. Learn how to practice body-mind exercises such as falling safely, to train physical and mental focus, connection, and stability for daily life.
Kirsten Welge is certified as Assistant Lecturer in Japanese Yoga and Mind-Body Oneness throughShinshin Toitsu Aikido, and holds a first degree black belt in Ki Aikido. Through the practices ofmeditation, ki aikido, and wildlife tracking, she cultivates awareness, ease, andconnection to herself, others, and nature all around us. She leads classes in ki principles,meditation, and movement in daily life, and leads wildlife tracking survey teams and trailing practice inthe field. She is also certified in Wildlife Track & Sign (Level 3) and Trailing (Level 3) throughCybertracker International. Kirsten holds a Masters degree in Public Health, and served as a hospitalleader in process & quality improvement for over a decade.
