1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
Curious about meditation? Experience a sampling of meditation with the senses, and learn about formal and informal meditation. Walk away with a clear understanding of how to begin a meditation practice, and examples and cues for you to develop and bring this sense of awareness to activities of daily life.
Kirsten Welge is certified as Assistant Lecturer in Japanese Yoga and Mind-Body Oneness through Shinshin Toitsu Aikido, and holds a first degree black belt in Ki Aikido. Through the practices of meditation, ki aikido, and wildlife tracking, she cultivates increased awareness, greater ease, and deeper connection to herself, others, and nature all around us. She leads classes in ki principles, meditation, and movement in daily life, and leads wildlife tracking survey teams and trailing practice in the field. Kirsten is certified as a Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, and in Wildlife Track & Sign (Level 3) and Trailing (Level 2) through Cybertracker International. Kirsten holds a Masters degree in Public Health, and served as a hospital leader in process/quality improvement for over a decade.
