SPPS Community Education offers a variety of classes designed for adults with developmental disabilities to explore interests, meet with peers, have fun and learn new skills!
School Age Child Care
Where families learn & grow together.
1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
Non-School Day: Grades K-5. Learn the rules of Pokémon and collect and trade some new cards. Build your own basic and advanced decks, and then test them out in gameplay with your classmates! Bring a bag lunch. Breakfast and snack will be provided.
Sliding Fees:Our model for program pricing ensures that our high-quality enrichment classes are more accessible to our community members. We encourage participants to choose the price that they are able to pay. This structure helps our programs be financially sustainable and more equitable.
Braeden Walker is a teacher, author, swordsman, and game enthusiast. He has worked with youth since 2019 and has taught Olympic Fencing, Lightsaber Fencing, Chess, Engineering, and much more. Coach Walker also has a few writing projects in the works. In his spare time, he enjoys playing games like D&D, Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, Star Wars Destiny, and more.
