Saint Paul’s vibrant Grand Avenue is filled with shops, restaurants and businesses, and history! Come stroll the avenue from Dale to Lexington, and hear tales of its transformation. From streetcars, gangsters and famous writers, to urban renewal and more.
Tour Rating: 4 (Demanding- extensive walking/stairs/standing).
Tour will begin from 619 Grand Avenue, St Paul, 55102 (NE corner of Grand Ave and Dale St).
Kim Johnson is a St. Paul resident and history buff who has been giving St. Paul tours for more than 10 years now. She enjoys St. Paul’s colorful past and scenic beauty and loves to share these with curious guests. She currently works as a teaching assistant with St. Paul public schools (2nd grade!) and enjoys giving walking tours in her spare time.
