We’ll start with daylilies of all colors and styles at Springwood Gardens in Jordan, MN, before heading to the beauty and serenity of Normandale Community College’s Japanese Garden. Intro to Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra-sFitness & DanceYoga is something deeper than doing postures, but what is it exactly? The sage Patanjali (circa 300 C.E./A.D.) illuminates the larger context of yoga practice in his seminal philosophical text. The guidelines laid out in the Sutra-s are just as helpful now as they were a few thousand years ago. Fundamentally, they offer practical and specific guidance about how to develop clarity, reduce suffering, and stay connected to our essential selves.
