For children ages 2-4 with a parent in the water. Learn water adjustment skills and have fun in the water. If child is not potty trained, child must wear plastic pants or swim diapers in the pool. No disposable diapers allowed. Locker rooms will be available for changing out of swim attire after class. Showers will be available. Please come prepared to swim and free of lotions, and other body and hair products.

Children 6 months to 2 years old with a parent in the water will be introduced to movements in the water. If child is not potty trained, child must wear plastic pants or swim diapers in the pool. -For children 5-10 years old who have anxiety or are fearful of the water. Gain confidence in the water and work on floating, gliding, kicking, and learn the basics of front crawl, back crawl, and elementary back stroke. Swimmers will be supported and assisted by the instructor for most skills. Locker rooms will be available for changing out of swim attire after class. Showers will be available. Please come prepared to swim and free of lotions, and other body and hair products. All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program.
