Everyone can be a writer; all it takes is time, motivation and a piece of paper. Explore different genres, styles and voices to discover your own. Read and write poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, memoir and everything in between. Get over writer’s block, write for the first time or rediscover your love for it.
Sam Johnson has written for newspapers, magazines, and journals in Minnesota and Wisconsin, where he's written everything from personal essays, satire and advice columns to sports, news and business articles. He has a BA in creative writing and journalism from UW-Eau Claire and currently works as an advertising copywriter for Treasure Island Resort and Casino.
