Nature-based Pre-K
Join us in reading Zora Neale Hurston’s powerful Depression-era novel—a rich tale of adventure, love, race, identity, and nature, written in vibrant Southern dialect. A masterpiece of 20th-century American literature, this novel reflects Hurston’s legacy as a leading voice of the Harlem Renaissance. We’ll read and discuss the story along with its historical and social context. Participants will need to provide their own copy of the book.
