1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
Geared toward new and beginning actors. Explore the basic tenets of acting, character exploration, and scene study. Walk away with the skills to dive into your next role! We will study Watch on the Rhine by Lillian Hellman.
During her time in the Twin Cities, Instructor Mary Cutler has directed for Lex-Ham Community Theatre, S.O.A.R Regional Arts, Phipps Center for the Arts, Off-Broadway Musical Theatre, Theatre Unbound, Bloomington Civic/Artistry, Buffalo Community Theatre, The Park Theater, Brazen Theatre, and Eden Prairie Players. Cutler’s Twin Cities’ acting credits include: Theatre in the Round’s Bedroom Farce, In the Restroom at Rosenblooms, and Born Yesterday; Rapture at Savage Umbrella; Lyric Arts’ The Red Velvet Cake War and Arsenic and Old Lace; Yellow Tree’s Steel Magnolias; 20% Theatre’s Helen; Minnesota Shakespeare Company’s “Midsummer”. Additionally, Cutler teaches acting for Lex-Ham Community Theatre at St. Paul Community Education and for Minneapolis Community Education.
The Lex-Ham Community Theater strives to build relationships through quality theatrical activities by and for the residents of the Lexington-Hamline and surrounding neighborhoods of St. Paul.
