Discovery Club School Age Child Care
Where families learn & grow together.
1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
One adult and one child, ages 2-4. Register under the child’s name. Explore the world of German language and culture through fun songs, captivating stories, and creative play time. We’ll start from “Hallo!”—no prior German knowledge needed!
Sliding Fees: Our model for program pricing ensures that our high-quality enrichment classes are more accessible to our community members. We encourage participants to choose the price that they are able to pay. This structure helps our programs be financially sustainable and more equitable.
Birte is a native German speaker who moved to the US in her late twenties. She is a licensed German teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience with learners of all ages. Her favorite students are her own young children, but she just loves teaching overall. She also has previous experience teaching in Community Education programs. Aside from teaching, she enjoys connecting with the German community in the Twin Cities.
