1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
Experience an hour-long class introducing the gentle Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or "forest bathing,” in one of St. Paul's lovely urban parks. Engage with your senses and accept the invitation to connect with yourself, the land, and the community. If you're curious about forest bathing but a longer session feels intimidating, this class is for you!
Kirsten Welge is certified as Assistant Lecturer in Japanese Yoga and Mind-Body Oneness through
Shinshin Toitsu Aikido, and holds a first degree black belt in Ki Aikido. Through the practices ofmeditation, ki aikido, and wildlife tracking, she cultivates awareness, ease, andconnection to herself, others, and nature all around us. She leads classes in ki principles,meditation, and movement in daily life, and leads wildlife tracking survey teams and trailing practice inthe field. She is also certified in Wildlife Track & Sign (Level 3) and Trailing (Level 3) throughCybertracker International. Kirsten holds a Masters degree in Public Health, and served as a hospitalleader in process & quality improvement for over a decade.
