Children participate in a variety of academic enrichment, recreational and cultural activities that informally support learning and social development. Life and social skills, such as cooperation, teamwork, and problem solving are fostered in a caring and accepting environment. Additionally, Discovery Club staff connect with school-day teachers to better support children's learning, including time for homework. American Red Cross Lay Responder Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED with First AidHealth & WellnessGet certified in CPR/AED for adults, children, and infants and first aid from the American Red Cross. Learn the skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies as well as the recognition and treatment of stroke, diabetic emergencies, and allergic reactions as well as treatments for wounds, fractures, burns, and other common injuries. CPR/AED Training takes place on Monday night. First Aid takes place on Thursday night. If you would like to take both please be sure to enroll in 5510SuA and 5510SuB.
