    Develop strength, range of motion, balance, and relaxation by combining the core strengthening exercises of Pilates, the lengthening and balancing poses of yoga and the flowing movements of tai chi. The warm water provides neutral support, ease of movement, variable resistance, and balanced postural alignment making the class accessible to all fitness levels. Locker rooms will be available for changing out of swim attire after class. Showers will be available for use. Please come prepared to swim and free of lotions, and other body and hair products.

  • Water Workout

    Tone up your body and improve cardiovascular fitness while having fun exercising in the water to music. Toning will be emphasized. Ladder entry/exit only. Locker rooms will be available for changing out of swim attire after class. Showers will not be available. Please come prepared to swim and free of lotions, and other body and hair products. Plan to shower at home after class. Bathrooms will still be available. Swim class participants must be masked unless they are in the water. All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program. SPPS currently requires masks for all people in a school setting (ages 2 and older), including all teachers, staff, students and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, unless they have a qualifying exemption. This includes (but is not limited to) indoor fitness classes and during culinary classes when not eating or drinking.
