Instructor

Tom Cook

Tom received his BA in Art in 1989, his teaching certificate in 1993, and has been teaching art, primarily ceramics, at Harding High School since 1995. He taught ceramics for Community Education at Harding for about 10 years before taking a hiatus.  Now with a new, improved ceramics room at Harding he accommodate an adult class once more! Tom enjoys teaching to all levels, has tons of ideas and can make just about anything out of clay.

Annette Huot-Link

Annette Huot-Link is an established potter and ceramics instructor in St. Paul. She received her BA in Theater and Spanish from the College of St. Benedict where she assisted master potter Richard Bresnahan. She then studied at the Northern Clay Center and later apprenticed under master potter Bob Eckels in Bayfield, WI. She aims to cultivate creativity and joy in her classes.

Mark Johnson

Mark received his BSED in Art Education from Northern Illinois University but didn't begin his work in clay until later in life when he discovered a ceramics class in Minneapolis. He seized this lifelong learning opportunity and delved into the rich ceramic culture of the Twin cities. After several years he began teaching with Saint Paul Community Ed.

David Swenson

David "Swen" Swenson has been teaching people of all ages across the Twin Cities Metro area for over 9 years, including at the Bloomington Art Center, and Northern Clay Center where he was also a Fogelberg Fellow in 2009.  He has a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio Ceramics from Alfred University.
