Resilience - Film Screening and Discussion

Researchers have recently discovered a dangerous biological syndrome caused by abuse and neglect during childhood. While the broader impacts of poverty worsen the risk, no segment of society is immune.  Resilience delves into the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and a new movement to treat and prevent toxic stress.

Join us for a viewing of Resilience, along with a panel discussion including social workers and mental health professionals from our community. Light refreshments will be served.

Registration required – space is limited.
