American Sign Language 1
Learn to communicate with American Sign Language. Students learn basic vocabulary and sentence structure. In addition to communicating with people with hearing loss who use ASL, ASL can be used to support and enhance communication with infants and toddlers, as well as children and adults with communication challenges.
I am a mother of a young adult who is Deaf and a Teacher of Deaf/Hard of Hearing with St. Paul Schools. I have taught ASL in middle school (Hudson) and high school (St. Paul) as an exploratory course, as well as for Community Education in Hudson, River Falls and St. Paul.
