Understand how electricity works in your home and do simple repairs yourself. Discuss safety procedures when working with and around electricity. Learn about the different types of wire and circuit breakers, light switches and wall receptacles and how to replace them. Understand the tools needed, testing devices and their uses and how to test circuits.

All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program.
