Sushi: But No Raw Fish

Learn the preparation of the ingredients, the assembly of the rolls and presentation. Make the traditional rolled sushi (makizushi) as well as American California sushi. Start with seasoned sushi rice, then select and roll wonderful ingredients such as chicken, shrimp, smoked salmon, crab, eggs, carrots, avocado and more! 


All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program.

Laurel Severson

Laurel graduated from the U of M in Home Economics and Education.She worked in businesses focusing on food; currently teaching many years in Community Education.She lived in London, the Philippines and travels extensively.Laurel is an avid cookbook collector who delights in sharing recipes and cooking tips.
