Fondue Fun!
Classes for Adults / Culinary -
Winter 2023 - Adult
It's always the right time for fondue! Make a fabulous family feast or impress your guests with a tasty party spread. Create savory and sweet fondues from around the world.
Invented in the 18th century as a way to utilize hardened cheese and bread, the Swiss melted cheese, added wine and dunked bread cubes into the mixture. The name itself came from the French work "fonder" which means to melt.
On the menu: Traditional Cheese, Classic Swiss Cheese, Beef Bourguignonne, Crab, Blue Cheese and Tempura. Of course, we'll dunk delectable tidbits of fruit, cake or brownies in wonderful dessert fondues - Flavored Chocolate fondues plus Butterscotch fondue. And we will make a variety of sauces and dips to round out the menu.
All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program.
