Yoga Therapy and Yoga for Better Sleep-Online Course
Classes for Adults / Fitness & Dance -
Summer 2022 - Adult
Yoga therapy is a healing modality unlike any other. Using the tools of yoga (movement, breathing, meditation, and more) a yoga therapist can create a custom practice specifically for you—for your constitution, state of health, interests and goals. The National Institutes of Health identify that therapeutic yoga can help with a wide variety of health issues. What is the difference between yoga and yoga therapy? How is yoga therapy used today? And could this be appropriate for you? In this workshop, we’ll explore these questions and experience a sample class of a yoga therapy group for better sleep. This will be a chair yoga practice with optional postures lying on the floor.
