This suicide prevention education for teachers and other school personnel teaches educators to recognize signs of mental health distress in students and refer them for help. This suicide prevention program complies with the requirements for teacher education training in many states. This program focuses on high school teachers and other school personnel.

The morning of your class you will receive an email with your online meeting information. If your class has handouts those will be sent with your meeting information. Please see your “Class Confirmation” email for more information on joining meetings.
Cassandra Linkenmeyer is the Minnesota Area Director for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). AFSP is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death. AFSP is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide across Minnesota and the country.
