Within just a few square miles in Saint Paul's Summit Hill neighborhood, F. Scott Fitzgerald met people and experienced things that would shape his life and career as a writer. Fitzgerald lived in other cities during his lifetime, but it was Saint Paul that he revisited in his writing time and time again. Come stroll this historic neighborhood to hear and see how he spent his formative years - from his prep school education to learning the waltz to bringing his new baby home from the hospital.
Tour will begin from: 25 North Dale, St Paul 55102, one block north of Summit Avenue. Participants must be able to walk approximately 3 miles on fairly flat terrain without places to sit.

Kim Johnson is a University of Minnesota graduate with a degree in Journalism. She works in communications and has been leading tours for Landmark Center since 2009. A 30-year St. Paulite, she has a passion for local history and has contributed numerous articles of historical interest to a local newsletter.
