French Dinner

Provence is the regional home to Marseille, Nice, and the Riviera often bases it's cuisine on garlic, olive oil, tomatoes, saffron and herbs. Experience Vichyssoise, Potato Galettes, Saffron Rice, Coquilles Saint Jacques a la Provencale and Creme Caramel! 



All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program. SPPS currently requires masks for all people in a school setting (ages 2 and older), including all teachers, staff, students and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, unless they have a qualifying exemption. This includes (but is not limited to) indoor fitness classes and during culinary classes when not eating or drinking.

Laurel Severson

Laurel graduated from the University of Minnesota in Home Economics and Education and has been teaching Community Education classes for over 10 years.  She's lived in London, the Philippines and travels extensively. An avid cookbook collector, she delights in sharing recipes and cooking tips.
