Flatbreads and fancy crackers are not just for restaurants. You can make them in your own kitchen! Explore the many varieties of flatbreads and crackers and learn how to make perfect whole wheat roti, stuffed naan, lavash crackers and gluten-free besan crackers.
All supplies included. Please bring containers for possible left overs, a dish towel and apron (optional).
All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program. SPPS currently requires masks for all people in a school setting (ages 2 and older), including all teachers, staff, students and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, unless they have a qualifying exemption. This includes (but is not limited to) indoor fitness classes and during culinary classes when not eating or drinking.
Kat Nelson has worked as a chef and cook in Twin Cities restaurants for over 10 years. She currently owns and operates Ingrid Lime’s, a cottage foods business that sells bread, pastries, and hot sauce at local farmer’s markets.
