Classes for Youth / Fitness & Safety -
Fall 2021 - Youth
Ages 11-14. The Safe Sitter® program prepares you to be safe when you're home alone or babysitting.Become the most sought-after baby-sitter in your neighborhood as you gain childcare techniques like: basic first aid, CPR and how to call for help in an emergency. Bring a (nut free) bag lunch.
All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program. SPPS currently requires masks for all people in a school setting (ages 2 and older), including all teachers, staff, students and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, unless they have a qualifying exemption. This includes (but is not limited to) indoor fitness classes and during culinary classes when not eating or drinking.
Teanna Rouillard is excited to work with youth! She has worked in many different types of youth work settings including camp in rural Alaska. Teanna is a big fan of traveling and discovering new things. She is often on the hunt for a new book to read and loves trying out new local food spots.
