Tom Colosimo is an independent Career Architect/Coach and works with high schools, universities and professionals locally in the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin. Mr. Colosimo also leads the Crossroads Career Networking Group at Woodbury Lutheran Church and has been a volunteer there since 2002 bringing in prominent keynote speakers for each meeting. Prior professional positions include 8 years at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business as a Career Coach and Corporate Relations Manager for the Opus College of Business MBA program. Previous to UST, he was an agency recruiter for 6 years and also has a year of experience within corporate recruiting. What makes Tom a bit unique is that his core corporate background and formal education focused in finance and accounting where he worked within for over 20 years!
Tom brings a passion for networking and enjoys connecting 'people to people' for success and brings that element to his approach to career development for professionals. He knows what it takes to make transitions in life and helps others with this process. He is also considered an expert on resumes as well as interviewing techniques.
Tom lives in St Paul with his wife Barb and has two grown daughters; Anna and Emily who work in Tokyo, Japan and Santiago, Chile respectively. He enjoys sailing on the St. Croix River in the summer and playing in his dance band year-round. He has been Treasurer of the MCDA Board since 2014 as well as a member on the Washington County Development Board (past Chair) since 2010.
