Barre/Pilates is a mixture of pilates mat abdominal work and barre standing leg and arm work. Barre is a challenging full body workout that uses repetition and balance to engage and strengthen muscles. It is a rigorous exercise that includes plank variations, push-ups, and cardio. It is recommended for students who are looking for a more challenging exercise. Must bring a mat and 2-5 lbs hand weights are recommended.

The morning of your first class session, you will receive an email with your online meeting information. If your class has handouts those will be sent with your meeting information. Please see your “Class Confirmation” email for more information on joining meetings.
My name is Annie Thompson. I am a certified mat and apparatus Pilates instructor and have been teaching Pilates for more than 6 years. I started taking Pilates classes over 12 years ago and loved how it has increased my strength and flexibility, as well as my body awareness. I have continued my Pilates education and recently became certified as a Barre instructor.
