Cahoots Springtime Buddies: K-6
Let’s be ‘in Cahoots’ and make learning fun this Spring!The Cahoots Springtime Buddies Program is designed to build relationships, practice reflection, create learning opportunities and generate delight!The program is designed for kids entering grades K-6.Younger kids may need adult support in reading instructions. Youth complete weekly activity prompts and write back and forth with their Cahoots buddy over seven program weeks. Cahoots buddies provide encouragement and help kids stay motivated to keep writing.Everyone who successfully completes all seven weeks of the Cahoots program is entered into a drawing for Community Education prizes!How it works: An activity packet will be mailed to you the week of April 12th. Packets include prompts for daily activities as well as for weekly reflections Youth mail their reflection to their Community Education Cahoots Buddy each week.Buddies mail responses back to youth providing encouragement and connection. Cost of the 7 week program (includes activity packet and reflection buddy): $18 50% discount is available for families who qualify for free-or-reduced lunch.
