We’ll cover the ASL American Manual Alphabet and numbers, how to make proper signs, along with word order and how to form sentences. Various lessons on ASL grammar and activities will grow your everyday vocabulary. This class is being offered using the Zoom online platform. For those comfortable with the ASL American Alphabet, signing numbers in ASL, and basic facial expressions. Focus on developing vocabulary and refining your ability to put those words into ASL sentence structure, along with further exploration into components of ASL grammar as well as discussion about what makes ASL its own distinct language as opposed to English-based signing systems.
