1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
Payments for catalog advertisements and other partner transactions.
Grades K-5. Play African drums and learn rhythm and different playing techniques. Build community and improve your teamwork, focus, and confidence. D.R.U.M. is the acronym we use as the foundation of our class: D for discipline, R for respect, U for unity, and when we have all of those, we can make... M - beautiful music!
This course is fully subsidized through grants from the American Rescue Plan.
Qadash Yasharahla started his journey working as a youth counselor and mentor right after college. He has over a decade of experience working with youth. Everything from teaching in classrooms, coaching basketball teams, African drumming, and more! Outside of the school setting, Qadash continues to push youth towards positivity by leading them in community activism. Qadash is passionate about helping families and enjoys working in the community.
