Monica Monfre is a veteran high school teacher and yoga instructor who recently moved to the Twin Cities after living in New York City for over a decade. After discovering yoga as a way to manage stress as a teacher, she brought the practice to her classroom to help students feel more connected to their body and their breath. She is excited to share the practice with students here with inspiration from her favorite Martha Graham quote "The body never lies." She continues to build her practice of yoga in and out of the classroom while exploring her new community with her husband.
