Entering 4-6. The Safe@Home program prepares you to make safe decisions when you are home alone for short periods of time. Practice safe habits, learn how to prevent unsafe situations, how to stay entertained, and what to do in challenging situations like a weather emergency or power failure. Includes an introduction to basic first aid and how to call for help in an emergency.
Sliding Fees: Our model for program pricing ensures that our high-quality enrichment classes are more accessible to our community members. We encourage participants to choose the price that they are able to pay. This structure helps our programs be financially sustainable and more equitable.
Angelo Dungey is a dedicated educator whose roots run deep within the St. Paul Rondo neighborhood. With more than nine years of experience in the education sector, Angelo has assumed the role of a guide and influencer of the emerging generation of educators and paraprofessionals in his current role as a second-year Mentor Coach. His pivotal involvement in training and coaching staff through the Check and Connect program underscores his unwavering commitment to cultivating an enriching learning environment for the students of Saint Paul, MN.
Angelo's reputation as a "gentle giant" or the "kid whisperer" speak volumes about his exceptional ability to soothe and redirect even the most challenging student situations. This innate capacity to establish connections extends not only to students but also to their caregivers, reflecting his extraordinary rapport-building skills and reputation in community. Angelo's engagement with his responsibilities is not confined to school hours, as he enthusiastically embraces his role within the community and leading after school programming.
His diverse experience has been built and showcased through his roles as a Para Onboarding Trainer and Behavioral Intervention Coach, exemplifying his versatility and proactive pedagogical approach.
